With so many retailers now selling online the customer is left to make a purchase based on (at best) 2 or three product shots. It’s not quite the same as going in store and holding the product in your hand before you buy it. But now with a little jQuery and some nice product shots you can grab hold of the product (with your mouse) and spin it around to view it from any angle. You can see some examples here. It’s not exactly a new idea, we were doing this kind of thing in the 90′s with QTVR and later using Flash. But now with jQuery it is a perfect cross browser solution.

This year we are sending out a QR Christmas card, with so many people joining the smartphone revolution we thought it would be a great way to direct people to our festive video message.
